Introduction
Co-ordinated by an eminent academic, assisted by a team of international experts including practicing doctors, epidemiologists and other academic researchers, this leaflet sets out to advise women of the benefits to themselves when their male partner is circumcised.
It also outlines the benefits that the men and boys in her life gain from being circumcised.
Based on the results of many research projects, the leaflet clearly shows that the risks are minimal and the benefits to public health and the individual well-being of women and their partners are substantial.
