Introduction
This leaflet describes some of the more common methods of circumcision and the type of result one might typically expect from each method.
The methods covered are divided into five main groups:
- Guided Freehand - ‘Shield and Knife’ and ‘Forceps Guided’ methods.
- Freehand - ‘Sleeve Resection’.
- Occlusion - ‘Plastibell’, ‘Tara KLamp’, ‘SmartKlamp’, ‘Ali's Klamp’ and ‘Zhenxi Rings’.
- Other Guided - ‘Gomco Clamp’.
- Alternative - ‘Laser’ and ‘Other Methods’.
