Introduction
These booklets, produced in conjunction with Inter-Circ: The International Circumcision Forum online, have been thoroughly checked for accuracy by our Medical Advisors.
They are intended as a general guide to the preparations one should make before an elective circumcision. There are separate books covering (a) Infant or Childhood Circumcision and (b) Teen or Adult Circumcision.
Hospitals usually have their own special set of procedures and so this guidance may not necessarily be appropriate if the circumcision is to take place in a hospital.
If your doctor has given you specific advice regarding preparation for the circumcision then you should follow his instructions rather than the more general advice in these booklets.
